University Of New England
The University of England is an Australian public university established in 1938 and is situated in the city of Armidale in Northern Central New South Wales. The university is the first Australian university established outside a capital territory. The university provides education and academic help to about 21,000 students coming from different parts of the world and numerous scholarships are also given to the students who are good in the academic field. From 1955, the university started online courses for the students, and recently they also started online tutoring and distance learning education program for the students. The chancellor of the university is John Watkins and the vice-chancellor of the university is Professor Annabelle Duncan. The UNE Alumni are active in networking and contribute greatly to the University enabling the institution to continue expanding its work and offerings. In the year 2006, the university notified some plagiarism issues which were removed by the university UNE policy.
